SALON AND SPA POLICIES AND ETIQUETTE
If you are new client or are receiving a waxing, massage or facial service for the first time, you
will need to fill out a form prior to receiving your service. For your convenience, if you would like
to print the form on your home printer, fill it out and bring it with you to your service, the forms
are downloadable below. You will need ADOBE ACROBAT READER to open the forms.

CUSTOMER SERVICE – Image Salon & Spa is all about you! We aim to provide you with the
highest standards of service and personal care, in the most professional environment so you will
return and recommend us again and again.
SERVICE GUARANTEE – We offer a 100% guarantee on all services within the two weeks after
they were performed only with use of recommended at-home care products. Corrective color
usually requires more than one service to achieve desired results. Because of the nature of home
coloring products, we cannot guarantee color services if the client has previously had color done
outside of our salon.
CHILD CARE – The spa/salon is not appropriate for children under 10. Children must be receiving
services and accompanied by a parent if present.
CANCELLATION & CREDIT CARD POLICY – We require a credit card number to reserve the Spa. In
the event that you need to cancel your scheduled appointment with us we do require at least 24
hours notice. In the case of a same day cancellation or if you were to not show up for your
appointment, you will be charged 50% of your total service. This is a courtesy to the staff
member, and so we may possibly accommodate the needs of other clients. However, we
understand that emergency situations do arise and we will accommodate you in any way we can.
REFERRAL PROGRAM – We are confident that you will enjoy your experience at Image Salon & Spa
and we want you to share your experience with your friends and family. For this reason, we are
delighted to offer referral incentives to our valued clients.
PRODUCT RETURNS – We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our skin and hair products.
If you decide that it is not the right product for you, and provided that 3/4 of the original amount
of the product is unused, we will gladly take it back and exchange it for another product within 14
days of original purchase with receipt only. No cash or credit card refunds, exchanges only. Make-
up items are non-returnable.
CORPORATE PACKAGES – Corporate packages are available. Ask a Salon Coordinator or
Reservationist for details.
PRODUCT HOME CARE – Continued results are achieved through daily use of professional products
at home. Your professional will recommend a home care regimen to maintain your results between
visits. Visit Image Salon and Spa Products to see a selection of products Image uses,
recommends and retails.
COMPLIMENTARY GIFT CERTIFICATES – Complimentary Gift Certificates can be redeemed for
services only. They may not be used for products or gratuities and are not transferable. You may
use only one complimentary gift certificate per visit.
SPA ETIQUETTE
As a spa guest, we ask that you:
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment in order to fill out necessary paperwork and
to change into your spa attire. If you are receiving multiple spa treatments, spa attire and slippers
will be provided for you when you arrive. Your clothes and possessions will be in a locker for the
duration of your appointment at Image.
For your convenience, showers are available for you to use before and/or after treatments. If you
wish to shower in between treatments, please notify the Salon Coordinator scheduling your
treatments to allow enough time for you to do so.
You will be asked to undress to your comfort level for body treatments. Your therapist will keep
your body draped with sheets during the treatment and expose only the areas being worked on.
With treatments such as body wraps, you will be draped with hand towels in order to reap
maximum benefits. Underwear may be kept on, or swimsuits may be worn if that is your comfort
level.
If you are receiving a body wrap, mineral bath or salt glow, do not shave or wax your legs at least
8 hours prior to treatment.
For gentlemen, please shave two hours prior to your facial treatments.
Give your therapist feedback as to your comfort and special trouble areas. We are here to make
this the most relaxing and beneficial treatment for you, so tell us what your needs are. If you
would rather enjoy the treatment in silence, that is your choice as well.
Relax and enjoy the benefits of the spa, allowing others to “do for you,” but respect that the room
must be prepared and used for the next client. Please know that you must leave the room upon
completion of treatment within a reasonable amount of time.
Please know that you are in a professional spa therapy operation and do not expect anything
other than therapeutic or spa treatments.
Leaving gratuity is always left to the discretion of our clients. As in all service-related businesses,
it is common practice to leave gratuity when the professional has performed a service to the
client’s satisfaction. Unless noted, gift certificates for treatments and/or packages do not include
gratuities.
For safety reasons, the maximum occupancy of each spa room is two people. Anyone
accompanying you to your spa services is welcome to wait in the reception area where there is
fresh coffee, tea, and hot chocolate served in ceramic mugs. Children under 12 may not be left
unattended; you will need to reschedule your appointment should your children come with you to
the Spa for your services.
